@foone @4censord could the frames you posted be a result of frame interpolation rather than interlacing artifacts, then, given the non-integer ratio of animation frames to presentation frames?

@4censord @foone I know the typical tricks, including variable frame rate across scenes; I'm just wondering if they animated at 60Hz for the original.

I found this on my computer and I have no memory of seeing it before.

@LunaFoxgirlVT if they're uploading 30GB of custom content to the GPU on a laptop I'd be amazed

if you make a game based around building things using a large catalogue of stuff, and you add custom content support for modding, for feck's sake please parallelise the content loader so it can utilise multiple cores and parallel SSD reads.

there's always going to be a group of players that loads up gigabytes and gigabytes of mod content, and you're relegating them to watching the loading screen tick along for 30 minutes while you process thousands of content packs sequentially.

@mntmn doesn't consumer protection law require free return shipping on faulty goods within warranty period? (it does in the UK at least, and I thought that was the case in the EU too)

@mntmn to be clear: the way I'm reading point 5 is that if I purchase an MNT product and it breaks within a year I have to pay shipping to get it fixed... which at the very least seems not very fair, even if I am wrong about free shipping on warranty repairs being a legal requirement in the EU
