All the 74xx165 are hooked up and its working great, the max IO update rate is 10kHz, which is ok with me.

This means the circuit works and I'm good to get some boards made.

By doing a WYE-to-DELTA conversion of the last 3 resistors in the R-2R DAC, you can save one resistor. This can help out a lot if your packed for space!

I turned my back for __1_minute__ during a conversation and he completely stopped replying. turns out he's packing for his trip while trying to fix his workbench and diagnosing his 8051 board while wrapping presents.

@gorplop you dissapeared, where did you go?

I got the headers in to solder to the 8051 boards!

I also got in some round RGB LEDs, and, sort of interesting, the pins are not in the same order as the square ones (around common) oh well.

Black PCBs by JLCPCB and green ones by Aisler.
