@Diceynes Whether I agree with the climate change narrative as it stands today, which I don't for a multitude of reasons, I just found the juxtaposition funny.
On the one hand they are claiming you can't shift the burden of proof to others for a claim of fact, on the other they are pointing to the "97%!!!" narrative. If you know anything about that narrative you know that there were plenty of people who were reputable at their time who were just deemed "wrong" with no supporting evidence (or worse the "muh 97%" shtick) and unceremoniously dumped from academia in order to hold up the narrative.
But even if that's wrong, all their predictions have been false. Let us not forget "underwater by 2010/2020". And even if THAT is not convincing enough, their whole argument here is an appeal to authority and popularity. You cannot claim a refutation of one fallacy by using another.
Also this is of course the same group who will claim God CANNOT exist (not only does not) and then talks about a fucking tea kettle in space.

@Zergling_man @Mamako I don't know what zerotier is, so probably not although I could be forgetting.
If I go bareback will my IP only show to you? Or will it be visible to anyone who enters the server? Also I'll obviously need you to vouch for the security of your server.
I could also buy a proxy for torrenting and just use that (although I'm not sure how I'll hook it into Windicks; will have to look into it), but I'd prefer not to at this juncture as my finances look to become even more grim in the near future.

@Zergling_man @Mamako I tend to be very skeptical of free VPNs and

would be one reason why. I don't like to use them on general principle, but I may be willing to try it out for a little while.
As it stands right now I'd prefer to focus my energies on what's going on in my life. If and when these things are resolved (hopefully in my favour) I will think about it.

@Zergling_man @Mamako Blizzard games pre WoW always had janky lan modes. I remember needing an external client just to play with other people (if you didn't want to use the official servers) and this was before all the gay blizzard online accounts shit they did.

@Zergling_man @Mamako Now that I mention it, I remember it also being a huge pain in the ass to play these games at LAN parties. Always some issue. I think this was a way to get people onto the official servers. D1 had a huge underground community from what I recall which is probably why Blizzard decided to become faggots about it.

I was thinking the older version for that reason, but I don't care one way or the other really.

@Zergling_man @Mamako I haven't bothered editing the minor or version numbers because the game isn't technically complete. idk if that will affect gameplay, but since each version is just additions to the older stuff I can't imagine Vassal will have a problem with it.
