Idea: A certifying organisation for #FreeSpeech forums, kind of like the FSF. Free speech for matters of physical reality, I mean. Not necessarily for moral or taste matters.
@TechLibre Etymonline doesn't appear to agree but it still might be true. https://www.etymonline.com/word/wussy (this is the entry for "wussy", not "pussy", but there isn't an entry for that use of "pussy" and "wussy" probably comes from said use) @thatguyoverthere
If you don't want a global community, you're in the wrong place. The internet is the biggest and most global community known to man. Everything else sounds pretty cool.
I think you should read this: https://astralcodexten.substack.com/p/your-book-review-cities-and-the-wealth. It's a review of two books arguing that we should think of economics in terms of smaller units than we do currently (cities and the regions around them instead of nation-states) and that secessionism is generally good. I don't necessarily agree with it 100% but I found it interesting and I think you would too. In fact, so might @coolboymew (one of the books was about Québec separatism) @condret
@coolboymew I'm not saying they did. Just that the concept of "undesirables" who need to be murdered "for the good of the race" is fascoid nonsense. @condret
@condret At first when I looked at the footage, I thought he was definitely innocent. But some time later, I looked at it again and realised that might not be true. Now I don't care because it's all over and I don't even live there.
