It takes a lot of practice to master any craft.
I think it looks pretty ok for a noob.

Men at work
You can solve that in software, I am sure... ;-)

I have been involved in burning in one monitor and it wasn't THAT bad, yet had been on 24/7 for a year+
Breadboards should look like this;
Talk about burn-in. I estimate ~10,000 hours to get that much.
@thatguyoverthere Hatchets are more useful in hand-to-hand combat ;-)
I am claiming that "Currency" is not "Money" since one of the defining characteristics of "Money" is "Store of Value", and "Currency" doesn't have that characteristic.
In 1950, my dad earned about $50-100 (not sure exchange rate at the time) per month and considered middle-class.
So translated; 40 cents was ~0.5% of a month's salary. Today a monthly salary is ~$3000, so 2 drinks are ~$15. Around here, that is about right, ~$9-15 each depending on place.
Depends on type. I have water-water, and a long tube in the ground. That isn't dependent on air temperature, but more costly to install.
Air ones will depend on humidity, as the condensor fins will frost up and need regular de-icing cycles.
Where I live, they become uneconomical around 0 degrees Celsius, compared to district heating. (i.e. efficiency drops below 2x)
Do you know if it is now possible to get the DDJ-T1 to work on Linux? I have one collecting dust, not used for ~8 years as I no longer have the Mac that once was connected to it, and back then there was no chance to make it useful on Linux.

BTW, for the longest of time during covid jabs, I thought "mRNA vaccine" meant "Messenger RNA vaccine". At some point I saw it written out as "Modified RNA"... I bet this (my confusion) wasn't a coincidence.
Aren't we great?
You hit the nail on the head;
Make people LTS addicted, and charge hefty fees to extend the support for enterprises that are too scared to upgrade (i.e. being on LTS in the first place).
Without fostering a culture of "being-up-to-date", large enterprises quickly get filled with old cruft.
I thought they abandon "global warming" more than a decade ago, and went with "climate change", to cover for this kind of surprises.
Someone is fucked over; yourself.
Again; in the Swedish literal mean of "fusk" is cheat, and in non-legal settings, also can mean fraud.
What we are facing is that a few small fixes in the 1970s and 1980s have over time deteriorated the roof, very slowly. To a point where we are probably going to need to spend $100k+ on a new roof. All because my dad didn't want to spend an extra $100 to do the right thing back then.
And if we don't fix roof, the whole house is gone...
In construction, cutting corners and saving cost is the most costly one can engage in. Like peeing pants in the winter, feels warm for a while and then kills you.
I don't envy your position, and without cheap labor (i.e. family) with skills to do the right thing, it is often not worth saving, for instance, a garage.
I know what you mean. My dad did the same thing, and we are now trying to figure out how to save the house.
My point is that the "byggfusk" word EVEN applies when you do it to yourself, often consciously with the qualifier "for now".
Or the married men with wives banging other dudes.
Or got promoted...
