@noyoushutthefuckupdad @coolboymew Haha. Yeah, the guy is great and coming into his own when it comes to his content now so it is great to see and to see others recognise that. I need to find some good channels based on writing novels though.
For sure. It's a good example for those of us that write stories, but more on how to not write a story. I do wish that I had better examples on what to do though. -

@noyoushutthefuckupdad @coolboymew I definitely recommend Brandon Sanderson too, I did watch his lectures some time back now. But perhaps a refresher couldn't hurt some time. I just don't know if he goes into enough detail or specifics in what I'm doing. -

@ChristiJunior @coolboymew I do usually agree with the idea of being able to experience what happens for themselves, although I suppose there are stuff that I'm not going to end up watching. Those examples do sound like they don't happen as often so they can be compelling examples in that way, it is good that they have been set up or foreshadowed too. Or maybe I just don't watch the genre usually so it sounds more unique. -

@ChristiJunior Do you have a good example of when it has been cleverly written? I do agree with you though, it sounds like Fairy Tail has made fake deaths the rule rather than the exception given how it isn't permanent when characters sacrifice themselves. -

@noyoushutthefuckupdad @coolboymew I think that is a good example too, I don't read comics but I do think it has gotten worse over time and blended into cinematic Marvel or even DC if I recall. I am tired of seeing British/English period series being taken over by black people. Attempting to normalise this and thus erasing the history of my country and people, as much as selling people the false idea of what life was like back then which backfires for black people. I would be much more interested watching a series based in Africa about what life was like for the tribes in Africa. That would be more refreshing for me, especially if there were no white people in it as it was based before they came over or in a part they weren't in. -

@coolboymew Yeah, I don't understand it either. Like, doing this to real children is even worse. How are they not doubling down on being a hardliner when it comes to real children being groomed and raped? I wish we didn't have a culture that encouraged children to have one-night stands or lose their virginity to them. We need a better rite of passage into adulthood because this one messes them up and the partying scene is probably one of the few passages left. -

@coolboymew I don't know how they think this is okay. I mean, this is how teenagers at 14 or even younger are groomed into becoming raped by adults. They will start with a slightly older boyfriend who the girls think are cool, and then they get lovebombed and showered with forbidden things like drugs or alcohol... they will buy things they don't normally get a hold of. They are treated like an adult. And then when they are suckered in, they are raped by these adults and other older adults are invited into this space to rape these girls... under this law, it will be legal for young adults to do this. It blurs the line. Once they have one girl, then they get her other school girls that get invited over to this space and treated similarly. The parents have no idea what is going on and think they are safe with their friends. Or tricked into thinking that their girl consented to being raped by these adults. It is sick. -
