    @matrix A lot of people have this weird internalized moral inversion, where they think they deserve something because they are ugly or poor or smelly or whatever.

    @GrungeQueef @Marshall1Banana @cowanon The reason for these stupid solar farms is central planning targets being missed, not an energy shortage. These could be on people's roofs just as well but the lawmakers set some stupid output targets and/or gave bad incentives. Terrible!
    Not too sure about the windmill thing, I kinda like them but since you can't have these as just one guy (the residential ones are shit) I know very little about the tech and if it makes sense.
    Fusion could be here already imo, they're not investing properly.

    Also, just a hunch but I think this guy invented his "origin story" tbh.
    It was really popular to say stuff like that but reality was often different. See those public opinion polls. I bet it still was about incentives and prospects even then. Especially for some asshole with a cushy recruiter job instead of actual combat duty.
