     @GrungeQueef @Marshall1Banana @cowanon The reason for these stupid solar farms is central planning targets being missed, not an energy shortage. These could be on people's roofs just as well but the lawmakers set some stupid output targets and/or gave bad incentives. Terrible!
     Not too sure about the windmill thing, I kinda like them but since you can't have these as just one guy (the residential ones are shit) I know very little about the tech and if it makes sense.
     Fusion could be here already imo, they're not investing properly.

     @WandererUber @Marshall1Banana @cowanon when an offshore windmill's blade breaks it sends shards of sharp splintery fiberglass that washes up on the beaches and becomes a hazard. the floating debris also becomes a hazard for boaters.

     @Marshall1Banana @cowanon It's nonsense just like putting them in fields. It would be significant additional effort to proof panels against repeated stresses from cars driving over them and being on the wet ground.
     Just put them on the roofs of the people using the energy!
