Yep. This has worked for the right before with #NAS, #Poast, #Gleasonator and #Spinster. And on the left I believe #Kolektiva experienced similar success.

Interesting #mentalhealth take from #GlennBeck of all people, that polarization of society and malleable identities combined with the psuedopermanence of the internet (coupled with the threat of being “cancelled”) makes #GenZ feel more alone and as a result, makes them depressed.

I’ve been on the #Fediverse for years but it wasn’t until this month that I realized that the local instance trends are more analogous to #Twitter’s “Trending For You” page than a global trending page.

Your instance can only show trends for posts and hashtags it knows about.

I usually don’t watch em either, except I will listen to #NBCNewsRadio in the shower to check up on the #MSM narratives and I’ll watch #FoxNewsLiveNow if I wanna see something like riot/protest coverage (woke.net hasn’t been live in a minute but they came back yesterday thank goodness)

But yeah independent content creators are generally better, although I need a good #TimPool replacement cuz his scandals revolving his girlfriend, lover and #AdamCrigler really rubbed me the wrong way

I don’t trust them completely, but I do think that it’s good, or at least better than most channels.

Have you ever watched it?

TL;DR #FoxNewsLiveNow is the only good news channel left and I find that frustrating
