   Yep. This has worked for the right before with #NAS, #Poast, #Gleasonator and #Spinster. And on the left I believe #Kolektiva experienced similar success.

     The big names on #birdsite don't have to stay there forever for their followings. They could organize a mass migration, perhaps with other big names there. In an earlier age, this would be considered not just the cool thing to do, but expected of any self-respecting artist or public intellectual. Telling a big corporation run by a billionaire to fuck off. Helping people avoid ads and have more freedom to say whatever they want and associate with whoever they choose. WTF happened to our culture?
