     @xianc78 @admin @hachi I never said I had more faith in Nostr, but it’s a problem that I have followers on mastodon.social, mstdn.social, etc and they’re not allowed to see me because their admins said so. It also basically eliminates the need for hosting. I’m experimenting with it, but the UX of the Fediverse is still considerable better. I want to strike a middle ground.

     @alex @admin @hachi Recently, I've been looking into twtxt. It's definitely not user friendly, but there is a web interface for it known as Yarn. I like it because it's basically RSS but for microposts. You can even host it on a static website or Git repository if you want to.

     I'm not here to talk about my breakfast. I detest that normie shit. I want the deep and serious discussions and some occasional humor. And the rare real personal connection that I can build at my own pace without algorithms hiding shit from people I follow.
     
     If mainstreamed federation can do that, fine. But I doubt fedi will survive the mainstream. At least the fedi based on AP.

But if I'm being honest, I couldn't see normies doing exactly that and I can also see myself just not following them. And it just seems totally reconcilable. There are plenty of users on the fediverse as is who I hold no ill will toward, but I find boring and I just don't feel like following their shit. So I think this is entirely reconcilable.
