     @ArdainianRight Top 0.1% isn't even H1-Bs, it's a totally different "national interest" visa and generally consists of the actual cream of the crop like biotech inventors, professional athletes, highly regarded specialists in niche fields like fashion, executives, or something along those lines. H1-Bs are by and large software engineers making pennies on the dollar ($80k for a senior position in New Jersey is common), often working for dial-an-Indian temp agencies like Tata, LTI Mindtree, or Wipro. And yes, Tesla is a major importer of H1-B talent which is meant to fill roles in which there numerically aren't enough Americans to hire. The techbros tilting their hand and saying "we hire H1-Bs because they're better at their jobs" is admitting to fraud.

     @ArdainianRight I think the big change between the old and new GOP establishment is sincerity. The CoC knew they were looters, and Lindsay Graham knew that being a Judas goat was something shameful and repulsive. The H1B tech looters sincerely believe that they're genius captains of industry, and the Crenshaws and Kinzingers sincerely believe that their role is a position of prestige. This results in social media freakouts when people show them the level of respect that they deserve.
