I agree entirely but her mother has a doctorate and her grandmother told her that it’s a brilliant idea to go live at a college for 4 years (I’d assume mental damage but it’s fine)

She’s gonna go to a small Christian school 2 hours from where I live tho so we’re all good I suppose

I make enough money that she doesn't have to work but her mother has a doctorate so I suppose there's some sort of "I have to go to college and get a job" because of that

my girl's dead set on becoming an engineer (and she's one of the few women I've encountered that I think would be alright at it, I've met a hell of a lot that wanted to) so I told her that I'm alright with her having a job just so long as the family comes first every single time, no exceptions and if she does that I guarantee I'll take care of the money

she said she quite liked that idea
