@nixCraft God I have known this pain for decades. There is so much that *nix does so much better, but the way it handles things like software distribution is absolutely NOT within that list.
Actually, I really want to say that as an end user, I find even the 5000 warnings that pop up even on a successful build to be a bit concerning. How do I know whether those warnings mean something is critically wrong that could break everything later in some context or not?
