Nazo (nazokiyoubinbou@mastodon.social)'s status on Tuesday, 25-Jun-2024 12:06:44 JST Nazo @itsfoss I'm not really sure LM Studio is true FOSS. A lot of it seems kind of closed and proprietary. At least that was how it seemed like to me. A significant portion felt like it was a "just trust us" kind of vibe.
Personally, I'd stick to stuff like KoboldCPP and etc for simple things to load LLMs. Although SDNext is better for advanced image generation. (KoboldCPP can do basic image gen, but it's meant for complementing stories so not complex.)
