   @smugumin @LukeAlmighty Capcom JP is headed by the Tsujimoto family. Of whom a member is Ryozo Tsujimoto who is basically responsible for producing the Monster Hunter franchise for a long while and recently has been involved with Street Fighter as well. I don't think the higher ups in his family understand video games as much as he does, being more typical Japanese businessmen.
   Their English side however definitely is trying to corrupt and subvert the company. They tanked the Dead Rising franchise when they took it away from JP development and put it in a western studio.

     they probably are. capcom's clearly headed by some dude with a tranny fetish. their usa HQ is in cali. not far fetched to think they're managed by the usual type who despises fans and does shit to piss them off on purpose like localizers do

     This is their official response to the backlash they got for adding a DRM into a 10 year old game. You cannot make this shit up. It's as if they're trying to be despised.
