@zero currently trying to use the ebooks script and I am getting blocked as unauthorized. That's signed fetching isn't it?
-
@mint well I am trying to scrape an account on NCD (nigbot) and they seem to be pretty locked down. I am new to this so I am not sure about the various ways you can get post history. I am using the ebooks outbox query Python script currently. I reached out to Matty but he seems busy.
-
does anybody know how I might bypass signed fetch to download post history (I'm making an ebooks bot). I'd rather not set up a whole ass server if I can help it.

does anybody have alternatives to krita? gimp is literally famous for being bad

okay so while my gaming desktop has pretty good built in audio, my laptop that I use to watch movies on DOES NOT and in fact sounds horrific. So I guess I'm looking for a cheap DAC/amp for that. I looked at "mid range" ones and they're like $3,000.

@zero likely because high quality tard wranglers don't go into anime. It's a general trend that: hard job to get into + low pay = the only people interested are activists who want to shit everything up over politics
You can also see this trend in real companies where absolutely useless people who can't do anything get assigned to "social media management" and become the defacto retard representing the corporate position. While the correlation isn't absolute, in my company it's a perfect linear scale of how meaningless your job is vs how much you talk about politics all day
-
@zero I pass on hiring people for stuff like twitter avatars. That's probably illegal somehow but I don't care. You can just look at somebody like that and tell they cause nothing but problems.
It's not even their beliefs so much as their inability to keep it in their pants for 5 minutes.

@deprecated_ii the first comment is open to debate.
The second comment is RECORD BREAKINGLY retarded
-
@deprecated_ii what AI could help with in legacy is that a lot of programmers are ALLERGIC to comments and will never ever say what anything they write is or does. Sometimes you will come across a brick of code that can only be described as a textual binary blob that is entirely unreadable but fits the pattern of a famous algorithm that you're not aware of. I think AI could help find reference material for stuff like that.
Keep in mind that legacy code is often very very bad and for much of it there is little to be acquired except a severe headache.

@mint of all the zoomer slang I see I've never actually heard it in real life. They just say "bro" several hundred times per hour.
