@timaeus @White_Rabbit @bobbala It depends on how you define 'capitalism.' Capitalism as it is in the US, is a system where you can accumulate unlimited amount of money or capital. At least, in theory. As I said, they've accumulated so much wealth that they can abuse it with very little consequence. Blackrock is buying all the real estate and there isn't really any legal framework to prevent it. This lack of supply pushes prices higher to where most people cannot afford to buy a house.
Under a National Socialist economic system, this is impossible. Because the available capital is limited by how much your average worker produces. This way organizations like Blackrock cannot horde so many assets they prevent people from home ownership, which in turn prevents them from starting families, among other things.

I think that gold backed system was working fairly well while it lasted. Of course, life was very different in the 19th century.

It was put in there because companies like Sweet Baby Inc "suggest" what should be included.
