What do you hate about capitalism that isn't a plank of the communist manifesto?

@BiggusDiccus @White_Rabbit @bobbala @timaeus Fair enough. The current economic system isn't really what the Founders intended, even if some may argue Hamilton wanted this or that. I think that gold backed system was working fairly well while it lasted. Of course, life was very different in the 19th century.

Hamilton would have an aneurysm if he were unfortunate to witness our trade policy with China over the past 30-40 years. Maybe he wasn't perfect, but no way would he sign off on that kind of industrial cuckoldry.

@White_Rabbit @wishgranter14 @bobbala To be fair. Capitalism freed the West from many tyrannies but it was perverted by liberal socalism and communism. Capitalism on its own works fairly well as a supply and demand system.

@timaeus @White_Rabbit @bobbala It depends on how you define 'capitalism.' Capitalism as it is in the US, is a system where you can accumulate unlimited amount of money or capital. At least, in theory. As I said, they've accumulated so much wealth that they can abuse it with very little consequence. Blackrock is buying all the real estate and there isn't really any legal framework to prevent it. This lack of supply pushes prices higher to where most people cannot afford to buy a house.
Under a National Socialist economic system, this is impossible. Because the available capital is limited by how much your average worker produces. This way organizations like Blackrock cannot horde so many assets they prevent people from home ownership, which in turn prevents them from starting families, among other things.

While I don't disagree with your point, I must insist that you are comparing a very Corrupted in use system to a currently not in use idealized system.

@bobbala @White_Rabbit Capitalism produces all the negative effects that are purported to come from communists. Unlimited wealth hording has allowed our countries to be subverted, and ruled by those who have no interest in the public good.
>inb4 muh capitalism brought millions out of poverty
Capitalism did not. Industrialization did.
