@icedquinn On the other side we have the evil corpo that uses their delivery systems that should be dedicated to one thing to also mule illicit/occult material, such as Los Pollos Hermanos' trucks being used to carry supplies for making meth, or King Breweries sneaking eldritch eggs and magickal weapons into shipping containers of beer. image.png image.png

Heavens FeelSaw Resident Evil Death Island. It was set after RE5 and RE6. I have to say I was entertained by the film. It's not high art and I didn't go in expecting it to be. One thing I really liked was how so many of the game characters got together in one place it was like a high school reunion but with zombies and lickers. It follows the usual RE formula but since it works, why change it?
The computer graphics in this production were very pleasing to the eye and I had fun watching it in the dark. The ENG only voice acting was pretty bad but that worked to the betterment of the rather campy story.
I would not recommend this to normies but for RE fans, it's a "put it in the queue of stuff to watch". image.png

Heavens Feelupdate: the multiple external sdxc experiment for the deck is a success . . . mostly. The deck seems happier with only one external sdxc in a usb adapter at a time in the hub but that's okay. It still allows me more space for gaming while keeping the main/core sdxc in the deck.
@lina There was a Cthulhu Mythos-inspired kart racing game made by Nitroplus called Azathoth D Youto Saisoku Densetsu. Though it has some very cute lolis It's unfortunately not that great overall (it's well below Mario Kart or SRB2Kart in polish and track variety) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YH9tmkjMxd4 image.png
Saber is one of the playable waifus in it and they also have Heart from Arcana Heart and Homura from Senran Kagura appear in the game. ProtonDB tells me that it runs fine on the deck ( https://www.protondb.com/app/482450 )
@scarlet@redneonglow We also need game devs and reps to just tell twittards "this game is not for you" when they complain about attractive characters, panty shots/fanservice, fun gameplay without woke lectures in the story, games that aren't live service, games that use simpler graphics without raytracing, etc.
There are already plenty of games for the wokies. We weeb gamers need more games for _us_.
@redneonglow@mischievoustomato There are a number of interconnected factors. Bandai Namco, Kodansha, Kadokawa, et. al have ESG pages. It's in the building. The S in ESG represents "social justice" —how open a company is to critical race theory, diversity mandates, and drag queen story hour. It also works to justify changing the content of Japanese games at the source to match so-called cultural norms around the world.
CERO, the ratings board for Japanese games, has also become much stricter when it comes to rating games and panty shots can make it harder to get low ratings. Hence the tendency for devs to use black voids, have the characters wear spats, or change the control so as to block looking up the dresses or skirts of characters.
We can also say that the Tokyo Metropolitan Ordinance had an effect on the availability of printed material from 2010 onward.
All of these things work together to harm anime, manga, and videogames. There can be no question that the amount of fanservice and spicy content has dropped compared to how it was in the 80s, 90s, and even early to mid 00s.
@Pawlicker@spook One cool thing that the alphas can do is digitally zoom up to 2X through a prime lens without distortion. Thus, if you have a 25mm prime lens on it, it can work as a 25-50mm zoom for the purposes of shooting.
@Pawlicker@spook I have fun using old lenses with adapters on a sony camera body. I like the operation and aesthetic of vintage lenses and it helps bring an analog quality over to digital photography. image.png
