@Salyer Imagine being so brainwashed as to think Joe Biden is cool.

I’m shocked at how much college costs have gone up compared to wages. I don’t know what our kids are going to do - maybe heating and air?

But I knew it was work that I enjoyed, and if I worked hard and proved myself, eventually I would be making what I deserved. And within 5 years, I was.
I never begrudged the grind - I knew it was temporary and that I would be recognized for the work I was doing. I also knew I could move on if the company turned out to be crappy.

She was mostly complaining that she had no time for “life” during the work week, assuming she means M-F. Hey, kid, there’s this thing called a “weekend”? That’s when you rest and have fun and do “life” stuff - you get two whole days for it!
But that’s much harder than your factory-work summer, right, Sir Morgan? 😆

The people it will deter are the casual fans who might have gone once or twice just to give their kids that experience.
We go to visit near Orlando 2-3 times a year and have NEVER taken our kids (& thankfully they are too old to want to go now). The main deterrent for us was the price - even before the increase in recent years. And now it’ll go up even more? Pffft!

Discovering Cedar Point in my 20s was a game-changer 👍🏻
So true about the fanboy theme stuff - we have 50-something-year-old friends (no kids) who do all of the Star Wars stuff at Disney, even the crazy-expensive immersive hotel experience. They are basically kids themselves.
