That fucking bottle cap will be the end of the EU, mark my words.
-
You know it is an absolute fucking tragedy how clever:
1. No Capitation, or other direct, Tax shall be laid, unless in Proportion to the Census or enumeration herein before directed to be taken.
Taxes are apportioned equally to representitives
2. The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
You can't do anything that is not explicitly written here
3. No State shall [..] make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts
This constitution was written to last a millennium, and by the hands of weak and servile men it was all wiped out.
-
How to stop the state from growing like cancer remains an open area of research 😭

Of course it is. That's how EVERYBODY practices everything.
Playing "That law sucks so lets just change the meaning of the words to make it what we want" is a game only played by those with contempt for Rule of Law.
-
One of the most frustrating things about the US government is that by any sane and reasonable reading - it is almost entirely unconstitutional and it only manages to exist thanks to a tortured interpretation of the meaning of the word "Commerce".

See how insidious the American conception of food as science can be?
Something that still blows my mind is that in French schools, children get a 2 hour lunch and they are sat down for a 3 course meal which is served to them by a waiter. Everyone is served the same dish, and lunch is used as an opportunity to educate them about table manors and balanced diet. Periodically, the mayor of the city goes to the school and discusses the menu with the chef and then the menu is established and published at the city hall.

In my experience, the BIGGEST difference from Euro (French in my case) food theory from American is that nobody here accepts the idea that food is a scientific tool to engineer your body.
Good food is like good art or good music, it's just good because it's good, and it would be considered uncivilized to speak about it in terms of some engineered material designed to illicit a particular response.
Americans have a tenancy to focus on portion sizes because they are a metric which can be analyzed, but that comes back to the main difference - Americans analyze food, Europeans don't.
There are "fancy" restaurants which serve small portion sizes, but that's an overpriced scam for tourists. Real French food is good and also plenty, and French interpretations of American food are fantastic.

Well, I apparently owe @icare4america drinks.
Trump/Vivek fits into my model, and I can make predictions around it.
Trump/Some-rando-midwestern-guy-who-will-help-electability (i.e. Another Pence) makes absolutely no sense to me. All of my modeling points to Trump's second term being markedly different, i.e. being a Strong Man, which necessitates him bringing executive muscle into his entourage.
This outcome is really the most frustrating because I don't get the satisfaction of being right, nor do I get the closure of knowing that I'm entirely off-base.

"EU Citizen" isn't really a denomination, there's no EU level identity issuer. Member states issue their own ID cards and keep their own databases. People who are currently living in EU countries are "EU Residents", but again this is a de facto status, there's no real database of people with EU Resident status.
If there are countries in the EU whose governments WANT to do this, they might move to ram through some directive which allows them to do what they want - but if a country like France says "non merci" then the ones who are implementing it will look mighty stupid, so it's likely a non-starter.
"European Law Says You Have To" is a total farce, it may work against small countries like Hungary or Greece, but "you have to" is just not something you say to the world's 5th largest military power with a mature intelligence service and nuclear weapons.

Trump IS the establishment. His job is to usher in The Great Reset. Buckle up.

This story keeps getting better and better.
Apparently the ORIGINAL Chevron case was brought because the EPA was giving Chevron a special deal so they could pollute more than the law says.
NRDC sued Chevron and SCOTUS said "EPA said its kay and they're the experts".
-
Lefties: End of the Chevron doctrine is an unmitigated disaster, Experts are being restrained by courts.
The experts: Shoelace is basically machine gun

WEF is getting taken out back.

They provided some

One very salient point made in the latter episodes of The Matrix is that trying to break out of the game is itself a significant part of the game's plot.
As someone who actually knocked on doors for Ron Paul back in 2008 - now seeing Bitcoin 60k, President Milei, End The Fed bills in congress, and the presumptive next president attending the LP Convention, where does Rebel end and Avant-garde begin?
Is it possible that we are not at all the free spirits we think we are, and that we are just actors on The Big Stage, doing our part to foreshadow the next act?

There are a lot of comments online to the effect that Biden isn't Biden. And the idea that he has body-doubles is really not that outrageous. If you believe the news, he's certainly not capable of making any real executive decisions alone, so what would be the harm of having a body-double do some of his public appearances?
If you send a body double and he gets assassinated, you cover it up and nothing changes, and that's not to mention medical emergencies.
Do you really think the most powerful oligarchy in the world is going to risk all of their plans on an elderly guy having a brain fart?
But when you start to have body doubles on one side, and hidden decision makers on the other, at some point you have to ask: is "President Biden" a meaningful entity at all?
Now it's less well known, but the same body double comments have been made about Trump (though I couldn't find the picture). And I would argue that for the most part, the same logic applies. Does THE GUY really have to be at every single rally and fundraiser?
But a much deeper question is: Why, if they have the choice of any body double or actor in the world, do Biden's people keep on choosing guys who can't make it through a sentence or up a flight of stairs?
Not only that, but why does Biden's administration seem dead set on adopting policies that are so obviously harmful and unpopular, that it's hard to see them as anything other than active campaigning for Trump.
The only hypothesis I've found which can actually answer these questions is that the entire Biden / Trump dialectic is simply a fabrication.
As the q-anons say "The Patriots are in control", I would say more that SOMEONE is in control, and they would like that you consider them a patriot.
