A few days ago, my boy turned 21. Today he want and got his concieled carry permit. He said it took about an hour. I asked who he used for references. He said nobody, he left that blank. He said two thirds of the form were blank. He read the law and they can't deny you for no references, so why bother filling it out? Same with all the other stuff. He has a point.

@icare4america I'm skeptical that this can be accurate. 1. Vaping hasn't been around that long and most vapers are firmer smokers. These 2 things would make causality very difficult to pin down. On top of this, the activity itself, is a way of coping with stress, so the stress could be a contributing cause. Then there is the vax. It would take a very long time and several studies to nail such a thing down.

The US has been attempting to broker peace deals FOR MY ENTIRE LIFE. Everytime an offer has been made they respond with violence and have for 50 years refused to remove the annihilation of Israel from their charters. They will not accept the state of Israel. No peace will be achieved absent decisive victory.

@LoveAlmonds it isn't hate, its pragmatism. There has never really been an independent Palestinian state.There have been plenty of opportunities for them to establish one but they have rejected them all and gone to war. With each war they have lost territory. They regroup and go to war again. This has been going on for hundreds of years. Only a very few very old people have ever lived in what is now Isreal. They won't accept their fate and adapt, so they have to be destroyed. Their choice.

But, there is no way that the recalcitrant hatred and absolute barbarism of the Palestinian Muslims for over 100 years has been faked. Isreal unilaterally pulled out of Gaza and left it to them (it was fully occupied by Israel until 2005) leaving them free to govern themselves, with massive foreign aid. They have failed because they are blinded by hate. From what I can see, going back to 700 AD, the fruit of Islam is hate.

I agree that we are not obligated to give any special consideration of them. I am not convinced that political Israel is the same as biblical Israel.
That being said, it is an amazing fact of history that they were restored to the same land that they were basically cast out of 1800+ years before, and given that God said he would do this, it seems he must have had a hand in it.

Sometimes I revert to hillbilly speak just for fun or when I'm very tired. When I do my wife often corrects my grammer, as though I dont have a clue. This amuses me. So tonight I said I'm plum wore out. She replies worn out. So I looked at her for a few seconds and said you are SO wrong. I watched her hackles coming up and then laughed. She wasn't as amused as I was.

My wife is all nervous because a bear has been spotted near our house and she thinks it will kill her animals. So she tells me to make sure I have a gun, powerful enough to kill a bear loaded and close by.
This sounds like a great excuse to go buy a new rifle and some ammo.

For years our government has been elevating debauchery and calling it freedom, while squashing true liberty. casting aspersions on such debauchery is indecent but not the depravity itself.
