It’s a grown man with no kids of his own, in a sterile relationship, who explicitly, over the course of years, expressed repeatedly his fixation on being in contact with children to the point that it has shaped his professional work (e.g. as a counselor) and his desire to repeat this.
That’s not a conviction, but if you want to let the obviously disturbed man babysit, you’re kinda asking for it.
