@aral @vncntx exactly this. for those of us that have seen this sort of thing happen many times before, (by many companies, not just facebook, but facebook have also historically been a culprit) we're right to be cautious.

@alternativeto I find it funny when these things pop up... have they just now learned invidious exists?! what have they been doing for the last few years?
what about all the other alternative YT front ends that are around which will grow to fit into the invidious shaped gap if it does end up ceasing (well... just try it YT, individous is not just one instance... you foooools!)
