@tournelhenry @husky @Tusky 'deceitful' is putting it lightly, as Tusky's instance censorship is encoded and not clearly stated in the error message. An innocent user of Tusky can
1. use it to try and access a forbidden instance
2. get a weird error
3. ask about the weird error in a Tusky forum
4. suffer the suspicions of the Tusky forum members. "That's an odd error. What instance are you trying to connect to?"
5. be denounced as a heretic when the instance is confirmed.
It doesn't say "I'm bigoted towards this instance so I refuse to use it." It lays a trap for the unwary - who are, as always, the LEAST deserving of the kind of hate they'll get, because the more 'deserving' would dodge the trap. -

if there's a point here, it's that the danger of these online movements is that it draws together kids who are very naturally (for kids) LARPing, and letting them gaslight each other into thinking there's something real. A tranny discord will show you 0.001% of each of its member's lives, and each member will pretend to be doing great, and then the entire rest of the life is misery. -

@Rasterman @PraxisOfEvil vtubers receive superchats, and tend to respond more to high-value superchats. 'Red' superchats for example start at $100 USD. But, that's only for USD. For other currencies, lesser amounts (converted into UDS) can still result in a red superchat.
In this community ARS is infamous because people will donate extremely small amounts of money to get a RED SUPERCHAT OMG. -
