     @tournelhenry @husky @Tusky 'deceitful' is putting it lightly, as Tusky's instance censorship is encoded and not clearly stated in the error message. An innocent user of Tusky can
     1. use it to try and access a forbidden instance
     2. get a weird error
     3. ask about the weird error in a Tusky forum
     4. suffer the suspicions of the Tusky forum members. "That's an odd error. What instance are you trying to connect to?"
     5. be denounced as a heretic when the instance is confirmed.
     It doesn't say "I'm bigoted towards this instance so I refuse to use it." It lays a trap for the unwary - who are, as always, the LEAST deserving of the kind of hate they'll get, because the more 'deserving' would dodge the trap.
