Yeah I had never heard anything like that before Stamets said it on rogan.
I immediately started looking into it because I eat mushrooms on a lot of different stuff. Still eat em but not raw anymore

I looked deep into that when he said it because I eat them all the time. Apparently most mushrooms can cause cancer if not cooked at high temperature

If you find your self with too much squash, this is the best way I know of to preserve it. Batter it, lay in single layers in wax paper, then freeze it. Once fully frozen put them in a freezer bag and store in the freezer. When ready to eat, fry them in oil or butter

Looks like thats a nope on canning it.
Make it in small batches.
Like 8oz at a time.
It doesn't hold up long in the fridge.
I usually make it for potato salad or macaroni salad. Something that I will use the whole batch at once.

Homemade mayo is easy af and delicious. I wonder if we could can mayo??? BRB. Going on a hunt to find out!

I have seen there are big rains everywhere but we have barely gotten anything since mid June. We've had a few showers here and there but in this heat we need a lot more. I've had to start watering my corn and watermelons every morning just to keep then alive through the heat of the day

Took in a nice little haul from the garden today. We could use some rain and some cooler weather so the garden can kick it into high gear
