bronzeOh and here's the owner of that car coming in to DEBOONK you EV hating chuds! He only didn't have his means of transportation for 36 hours! Good thing nothing happens in his bleak shitty pathetic disgusting life or else he could've been in real trouble (something uber / lyft gift cards or public transportation wouldn't fix).
@justnormalkorean@kf01@caekislove@Saber@coolboymew I hope they have a starter relay with them / can find my fuel pump / starter kill switch I hid in a very creative location :blobfoxthinksmart: (not that I drive a KIA, koreans cant make anything right)
@WashedOutGundamPilot boomers don't get it, they really think new is always better and to be fair for most of their lives that was true, until it wasn't
@WashedOutGundamPilot that's the main reason I try my best to keep my old cars alive, yes they're simple but they get me from a to b without the remote killswitch and all the extra BS Also I personally have fun tinkering around with cars, almost as much as I do with computers. Its a nice extra hobby and I'd rather own up to any mistake I make rather than bitch at a mechanic about prices and things not working the way they're supposed to.
Found this amazing post on reddit about the bricked Ford EV, some gems from the comments:
>Its extremely rare so it isn't really an issue >Cell phones and laptops brick too, so its ok for your CAR to brick itself >This is ford's flagship EV, they'll roll out the white glove treatment for you (LMAO) >They will compensate you with a loaner / $30 lyft gift card >Modern gas cars brick themselves too, this is just EV hate!
@thegreatape@Pawlicker@narada@Leaflord No you don't understand that's THE hector martin creator of asahi linux ofc google has to target him! Maybe they're super jealous of his vtuber troonsona and want to stop him from streaming!
@Suzu@Zerglingman I can, but its through a sound card and some "entry level" audiophile headphones. I completely understand if you'd want to save space on music with ogg as long as it still sounds good.
I would save the Union. I would save it the shortest way under the Constitution. The sooner the national authority can be restored; the nearer the Union will be "the Union as it was." If there be those who would not save the Union, unless they could at the same time save slavery, I do not agree with them. If there be those who would not save the Union unless they could at the same time destroy slavery, I do not agree with them. My paramount object in this struggle is to save the Union, and is not either to save or to destroy slavery. If I could save the Union without freeing any slave I would do it, and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone I would also do that. What I do about slavery, and the colored race, I do because I believe it helps to save the Union; and what I forbear, I forbear because I do not believe it would help to save the Union. I shall do less whenever I shall believe what I am doing hurts the cause, and I shall do more whenever I shall believe doing more will help the cause. I shall try to correct errors when shown to be errors; and I shall adopt new views so fast as they shall appear to be true views.
I have here stated my purpose according to my view of official duty; and I intend no modification of my oft-expressed personal wish that all men every where could be free.
