@atomicpoet I bet it's going to be just a random Mastodon instance that will be closed in a year or two due to a small user base.

@runoutgroover KDE neon is known to be a very unstable testing distro, even their creators said so, it might just completely fall apart after an update. In my experience Fedora KDE has been the most stable KDE distro, so that's my suggestion in case your neon installation explodes or something.

@kaia I own a slightly different model but still of the original 700 series.

@SuperDicq I have an old E-MU 1616m professional sound card from 2004 which now only works with Linux and macOS thanks to FOSS drivers made by the community. My friend @ITzTravelInTime has a bunch more of these old sound cards and they all work on Linux.

@filippodb @dansup molta gente è caduta per il meme di Bluesky che ha investitori ed è tecnicamente decentralizzato ma in pratica no (si ritroveranno nella merda un bel giorno, ci gioco i testicoli), tutto perché il concetto di federazione di ActivityPub è, secondo loro, troppo difficile da capire. Non hanno mai usato le e-mail? Huh???
