   @runoutgroover KDE neon is known to be a very unstable testing distro, even their creators said so, it might just completely fall apart after an update. In my experience Fedora KDE has been the most stable KDE distro, so that's my suggestion in case your neon installation explodes or something.

     Decided to feck around and install KDE neon and it's out-of-the-box sweet and stable. None of the irriating ticks I was getting with Kubuntu or Debian + KDE.
