@LivingSpaceStudios @Griffith @ArdainianRight @blaaablaaaa @1nter4ri @BigDuck @D-Droid @WashedOutGundamPilot @Hoss Nyan/11 wasn't a war though, it was a pretext to go steal oil from 3rd worlders or just kill muslims for kikes.
We were talking about nuclear war, see what it was like for Japan and imagine an exchange hitting 10-20 major cities.

@LivingSpaceStudios @Griffith @ArdainianRight @blaaablaaaa @1nter4ri @BigDuck @D-Droid @WashedOutGundamPilot @Hoss Are the nukes here yet? We're quite overdue for the Russian nuclear winter. At this point in history i'm reluctant to accept imminence of nuclear war.
Today's economy is sky high compared in all measures and it wouldn't be in anyone's interest to wreck it. Much better to maintain forever war psy op and steal from the economy in different ways like inflation, taxation. Furthermore most world economies transitioned towards service based and killing or capturing few industrial agglomerations would have much different effect than decades ago. Bad proposition overall with few upsides.

@Terry If i'm reading this right and the journo wrote it up correctly, these are separate groups and these numbers add up for total numbers of noticers.

@thatguyoverthere @raucao Depends, modern CPUs have full facilities for virtualization, 5% performance penalty is considered high on non over provisioned systems. I run compute GPUs via passthrough and can't tell the difference between my bare metal and virtualized workstations.
-
@thatguyoverthere @raucao Xen takes some work upfront, but allows easy staging and virtually in place rollbacks.
Even easier with Xen based environments, Proxmox is a popular one.
-
@thatguyoverthere @raucao Production should have staging anyway, so that's just a scare for lazy admins.

@BigDuck @Ottovonshitpost @DW2 qWhacked.

@thatguyoverthere @covid_stats @jeffcliff Covid is dead, long live covid!
That's the plan now, (((WHO))) make's sure of that.

@Elliptica @Azur_Fenix @Frondeur @noah @luithe Come the fuck on, this is pilpul at this point. ;D
-
@Elliptica @Frondeur @Azur_Fenix @noah @luithe Women have no idea what power is, 150.000 military personnel sprinkled all over the world, but it's just airfields. ;]

-
@Elliptica @Frondeur @Azur_Fenix @noah @luithe I mean, every country has hundreds of different size military bases all over the world. RIGHT?!
-
@Azur_Fenix @noah @luithe Check what's happening in the world. People are waking up to what GAE really is.

@IAMAL_PHARIUS Economical efficiency is just between your average petrol and diesel cars with repair and maintenance costs of full EV. That means complete hydrogen system overhaul every few years, 20-30k$.
This will create the same problem as full EV, first buyers get all the benefit and push all the problems into the second market. Also hydrogen production costs electrical energy, which on industrial scale is fossil fuel derived. Bad tech.

@thatguyoverthere @niclas I guess you have to live and learn on this one.
-
@thatguyoverthere @niclas Yeah, more load will most likely make it worse, higher Lorentz forces or something.
-
@thatguyoverthere @niclas That's still noise pollution and ear strain, all depends how sensitive you are to it, how long will you be around it and a small risk of developing hearing problems.
I'm sensitive to that so it would piss me off to no end, developed sensitivity too.
-
@thatguyoverthere @niclas Poor quality transformers in any PSU, not gunked up well enough to prevent coil vibrations that result in audible coil whine. These issues don't go away.
