@aral Indeed. I'm not 100% disagreeing with what she's saying here - it's the context in which it's being said. And some of it is really quite disgusting.
@aral I've lost a *lot* of respect for her since she started whining about how "the arts shouldn't be political" after Baillie Gifford's sponsorship of a number of her favourite literary festivals was withdrawn because of its profiting from genocide.
So last week it was Just Stop Oil activists, and this week it's Palestine protesters. Pre-emptive arrest is here to stay, it would seem. Next stop: thought crimes.
@aral I haven't managed to "acquire" it just yet but I watched the trailer and the answer to your question is ... NO. Makes climate change documentaries look like Disney.

"We, the undersigned, condemn the recent actions of South Wales Police, who arrested 19 pro-Palestine activists in less than 48 hours, including 15 at Cardiff Bay Police Station, and a 12 year old Palestinian child and her mother, in Swansea."
Update: Things are going *off* in France. Unions and leftist groups across the Hexagon, in Corsica and in the Pays Basque are planning an ongoing national protest and coordinated labour strikes starting tomorrow.
