   @fkamiah17 What the fuck does “facing the end of the world is neither here nor there” mean? How is that person a judge? Why is this species so damn stupid?

     Five Just Stop Oil activists are being sentenced in Southwark this morning, facing as much as 10 years in prison for walking down the road.
     The judge has already indicated that he intended to hand down "long, long sentences", saying that "facing the end of the world is neither here nor there".
     The trial was witnessed by UN Special Rapporteur Michael Forst, who had this to say:
