So many assumptions I once had, such as people accept science as the defacto method of understanding the universe, or that we prefer white collar to blue collar roles.
This video makes a great point. The vitriol migrants face comes from a desire to claw back the blue collar work from developing countries that previous generations farm out so their offspring can have easier lives. But that requires education
Another assumption I once had is people like education & governments will provide it.
