@matrix @Wormwood 1. Are there images of the actual diary available to the public? I know it's in some super secret location and only specially selected preservationists can handle and view it - but pictures exist, yeah? Can you show us?
2. Which camp, is there a modern picture of the location? I bet you could even find on Google Earth or something, or maybe there is some article you could link?
3. Don't multiple sources and numerous organizations besides these two publications list an equal or higher number for multiple years after the war?

Garden of Eden? Did something bad, got kicked out
Tower of Babel? Public works, shorted things, everyone else's fault
Sodom and Gomorrah? Dipped right as everything went to shit
Jericho? Somebody opened the gates/sabotaged from the inside
Passover? Jew group kills if the house isn't marked because reasons
Etc. Etc.
God bails them out repeatedly despite things like the brass idol, even goes so far as to inspire the ten commandments (aside, who needs to be told by *God Himself* not to adulter/kill/steal/etc. in order to realize you maybe shouldn't do said things?) and the behavior persists.
