of course, from our perspective, it is English that is misspelled

inconvenient fact: having it all centralised and running on one company's servers is *probably* the greener option - all these independent Linux servers running everywhere is likely putting out more CO2 than just leaving it to what one billionaire would do.

i remember being a teenager too, yes

when i started seeing through this illusion, my rate of buying new stuff went down dramatically.

you can usually find ways of getting started with a new hobby for free or for very cheap if you're sufficiently motivated to find workarounds.

i basically had no music gear when i got started with music, for example. i just made it on the computer at first, because that's all i had.

@amerika i mean, clean jokes are also going out of fashion. i get boomer vibes when i see them posted on Facebook. the kind that has a story and a punchline, more specifically.

a modern version is 4chan greentexts but they're typically autobiographical (or claimed to be so), not fictional, and the tone is different.
