@sun@raccoon@Amkiel@xwyqi I’d just like to interject for a moment. What he's referring to as Mastodon, is in fact, Fediverse, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, Fediverse plus Mastodon. Mastodon is not a decentralized network unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning network made useful by the ActivityPub Protocol.
CakeWallet has a novel feature I wasn't aware of until now. If you pin an XMR (or other supported) wallet address on your TwiXer profile, or put it in your bio, CakeWallet will automagically map to that address if you input the TwiXer handle in the Sending dialogue.
I would very much like to see this feature extended to Fedi. Support for addresses in bio fields is already a part of Mitra, I'm sure it'd be simple enough to integrate
@Mark@greyarea If I'm honest, I still prefer Shadowchat. I just want to be able to say I actively tried XMRChat so I can talk about it with some confidence. It's nice enough, and I guess it's good for people who can't do webserver, but given that it relies on being hosted it doesn't really add enough value or novelty to counteract that. For me, at least.
This weekend, dust off your blackjack and string your shortbow, because it's time to steal from the rich and give to ourselves. We're revisiting an old-but-gold Fan Mission, the first in a long running series with arguably the highest production value of them all. The wealthy Lady Volta is holding a priceless gem in the highest tower of her palatial estate, and we're going to steal it.
As usual, the rules are No Saves, No Kills, and Hard Difficulty. Every screwup has to be lived with, and death means starting over from square one. We'll also be giving XMRChat a test drive, a hosted alternative to what Shadowchat offers.
"Saturday Night Stealth: The Dark Mod, Volta and the Stone" is Saturday November 16th, only on PeerTube.
Reports are coming in that the dong has been rising, and people are getting excited about the implications. While regulators concerned about the long term effects of this dong action, and seek to calm the dong as much as possible, many expect the situation to leave dong holders satisfied, even if it comes to a messy finish.
I see the Mitra subscription icon changed from the dollar sign coin to a starburst icon... personally I preferred the clear visual connotation to money, but I guess this works too.
