@All_bonesJones @ooignignoktoo @coolboymew Every gen has good ones, but recently it seems like they've been putting all of their effort into starters and phoning it in for everything else. You can tell that they started running out of ideas in Gen 5, as much as I liked the games. -

@All_bonesJones @coolboymew You have to think with the most recent generations they're not trying to put out designs that work for Pokemon, they want designs they can make merch out of. The Japanese fans used to blame James Turner, the guy that ran the studio that made the Gamecube games, but now that he's gone I don't think they have anywhere to point the finger anymore. -

@Kerosene @rosey @Hoss I knew things were going to get really fucking weird when TV had Tiktok nurses shaking their asses on it. Once they started with that garbage and the elbow bumps and everything, society was going to implode. Our leaders started making things infinitely worse by going from "The virus causes racism" in January to "The virus kills grandma" in March to "The virus stops spreading when you say Black Lives Matter" in June. And yet, there's been no reckoning for all of that. We really do deserve what we get. -

@Kirino @rosey @piggo @Hoss This is a virus that was more or less generated by human hands so I don't think things are going to go 100% to standard, but it won't be different enough to completely throw out the rule book, either. The time table is around the same as the one for the Spanish Flu, though.
I don't think it was the end of the world for your average person early on, but it was pretty dire for the elderly and immunocompromised. -

The Steam Early Access page had bullshots where they made concept art look like it was actual in-game screenshots. The CEO blew EA money on a posh London office and tried to force his dev team to move and work on-site, and about half quit because they didn't want to uproot their families or didn't even live in the UK. This resulted in him scrapping the roadmap, which after all of this, the people that bought the game EA turned on the development team. The story was them trying to shut up their critics by putting out a slapped together 1.0 release. Chucklefish's behavior was bad enough that the guy that developed Stardew Valley ended their publishing agreement once he caught wind of their business practices. -
