#fosstodon today banned my account in a blatant show of bigotry. They hide behind the fact that I asked for help to get my meds, but they have routinely shown bigotry and hatred to LGBT posters. I am banning them on my instance and calling for a #fediblock until they reverse my account ban and pledge to stop targeting LGBT members of the #foss community.

As much as the #fediblock crowd likes to bray on about how they're helping make the fediverse more inclusive, in reality they're gatekeeping a network that they see as some sort of secret club.

They want the network inclusive, but only for "the right people". That's not inclusive.

⚡ Admin Dispute Resolution

We know it's challenging to run an instance, and sometimes disputes and blocks happen between instances.

We are launching a dispute resolution service for (pixelfed) admins to resolve disputes in a transparent and public way.

It will be built-in to the admin dashboard, and very easy to use!

Imagine being able to resolve #fediblock mentions by proving proper action was taken, and in an auditable fashion!

this instance is anti-Ulrainian and they support russian invasion of Ukraine, the rule 7 on their instance is "don't be Ukrainian" (pic 1)

the admin has displayed their hatred towards Ukraine multiple times, there are screenshots, the English translation is put into alt text. they also have Z, the main symbol of russian aggression, in their username

they previously defederated an Ukrainian instance on their Mastodon server because it was Ukrainian

the reason of fediblocking us was because @sarahquartz and I showed up in their replies after all the fascist and anti-Ukrainian sentiments they've posted today, basically because we supported Ukraine here

@Zerglingman It actually would be difficult but not because of any intentional fuckery. New instances pop up and old ones disappear constantly. To maintain a functional blacklist I would need to know about the newest pedo instances before they access FF. That's not something I want to do nor would it be easy since #fediblock -ers care more about the N word than MAPs.

I feel like what I have now is the best solution. It's a very low bar to entry. They send info, I vet for obvious pedo stuff, ez.
