@Mastodon@mellifluousbox@Gargron If #ActivityPub integrated #OpenStreetMap it would be an huge benefit to the #opensource#community 🌍🌎. Imagine wanting to see a place on openstreetmap and user photos appear (like google earth) or geolocate a photo or video on socials that supports ActivityPub. The possibilities are huge and would involve more people.

For this #ThankYouTuesday, I want to express my gratitude to SDF.org.
This long-standing community, thriving and healthy, is built on #NetBSD.
Many years ago (I’d have to dig through old emails, but it’s definitely over 20 years), I reached out to them for advice on setting up a public access server (which I ended up not doing). They were incredibly kind and provided me with a wealth of information. They are also present in the Fediverse - @SDF - showing that they are always keeping up with the times and looking toward the future.
Just christened and licensed ‘truly’, a DEC Alpha 500au with the same non-commercial kit we got nearly 25 years when we switched to DEC Alpha! Welcome truly to SDF Vintage Systems! ‘ssh menu@tty.sdf.org’

The Thunderbird story is an epic of countless individual stories, coming together to make something bigger than themselves. We're sharing those stories in a new series, and our first spotlight is on one of our amazing Bugzilla volunteers.
Arthur helps new volunteers document issues, as well as testing bug fixes. Read more at the blog, and find out how to share (or start!) your own Thunderbird story!
Database update have been implemented to improve performance. Soon we will need to perform some database maintenance to further improve performance. Thank you for supporting us and staying here.
