He worked for a hookup site and told me that all he did was work on the automation of creating fake profiles of women to make it look like they had an equal ratio of men to women. In reality 99% of the female profiles were fake. The regular dating site he worked on was also mostly fake profiles. He left that line of work shortly after because things got too sketchy for him.
