     It's weird we were talking about it at work and I feel like half the wifejaks I see remind me of my mom more than my gf. Then the zoomer girls started getting in on it and I started so suspect that non-whore femcel-adjacent Gen Z/A women are actually closer in mental operation to weird internet boys than they are traditional women

     Also zoomer chicks are just totally inept in the home, compared to even millie girls. Everytime a zoomer alt girl or hapafemcel shows me home decor it looks like a dude's room

     I felt like that old reader's digest sob story where the couple decide to air out their grievances only for the girl to go first, lambast hubby, and then get "well gee, I love everything aboutcha" in return

     I was trying to think of the stuff that makes me eyeroll but even the irritating stuff is cute enough that her apologetic behavior is worth the trouble

     My wifejaks would be like

     "babe I got these rare eggs for $150 that's a deal y'know these roosters will have 30' tails"

     followed by

     "oops I forgot to check the incubator after the power went out......they're all dead"

     Girls have a weird mindscape that's just a novel take generator, alway seeing things I don't and approaching from a childish, cute angle. Makes it real fun to sit there and rumple your brow when she says the most baffling things as if it's normal and common sense

     I've had to put my foot down and tell her we're going where I want and if she can't find something there she likes then she'll just go hungry

     this is my story, too -- and I suppose I really shouldn't care how loserish that may seem.
     
     this topic was briefly discussed on TRS1174 and if I'm not misrepresenting Sven too much -- Sven said that any guy who sees his mom in wifejak is because he's a loser that no actual femoid whatever be with. I think there's some truth to that, but I don't really think it applies to me. that my mother is such a constant presence in my everyday life is not by my choosing and is not by my desire.
     
     so as loserish as it might make me seem, while I do see the humor in many of the wifejak memes, it also makes me somewhat resentful because, it's like, I already get that shit from my mother so why the fuck would I want to get that kind of constant nagging from a wifejak. if I was married, my obligation would be to my wifejak, but then I'd have to deal with the constant stress of putting my wife before my mother which is what all men should naturally do). but also have to deal with bullshit coming from my wifejak whenever I put obligations to my mother over her.
     
     this is absolutely most certainly NOT the future I was promised back in the 1980s and 1990s, and boy howdy am I resentful of it.

     @haberdasher In my case it's just an age thing - she's too young and inexperienced to be on top of household management, she never lived alone until moving in w/ me. The natural dynamic doesn't really lend itself to mommying me - our first ~2 years together were basically a constant string of finding things she never learned from her own parents.

     Like most zoomer/millie girls, her parents thought it was sexist and old fashioned to instill good habits of cleanliness, chores, errands in a girl. Then they were surprised when she's 19 and "doing nothing with her life!!!!!"

     (Only funnier because me taking her on and letting her do nothing with her life is actually super great to them once she's doing it in my room instead of theirs)
