   @haberdasher In my case it's just an age thing - she's too young and inexperienced to be on top of household management, she never lived alone until moving in w/ me. The natural dynamic doesn't really lend itself to mommying me - our first ~2 years together were basically a constant string of finding things she never learned from her own parents.

   Like most zoomer/millie girls, her parents thought it was sexist and old fashioned to instill good habits of cleanliness, chores, errands in a girl. Then they were surprised when she's 19 and "doing nothing with her life!!!!!"

   (Only funnier because me taking her on and letting her do nothing with her life is actually super great to them once she's doing it in my room instead of theirs)
