   This is what happens when you get cut off from your history.
   Did you know it was common to have "Mercy Houses" in Catholic countries where you could get a generous loan with some collateral?
   Maybe it didn't help the really poor, but if you were a craftsman and wanted to expand, you could take your family jewels and get a loan that's several times the value of the collateral as a kind of charity.
   
   But hey, I wonder why that wouldn't be a topic in classes today? :blobthonkang:

     @nobullyplz @EssentialUtinsil Sadder that we can't do that today. Every time I've tried to spitball something to help our own it's shut down with "no, that's discrimination".

     Even if we structured our scholarships under a "friendship society" where you have to have people vouch for new applicants, you're just making yourself a fat target for the negroid ACLU complex

     @EssentialUtinsil @dictatordave @nobullyplz When there's a pot of money being handed out to the deserving, the entire urchin-sphere of "civil rights attorneys" will mobilize to feast on the carcass. All it takes is them ringing up any of the people who tried and failed to get a disbursement and they'll go pro-bono to sue you for discrimination.

     Maybe it would work, but I look at the landscape littered with the corpses of old fraternities and lodges that did their best to keep the system at bay....they're all sparsely attended hippie-lib boomer bars now.

     I've gamed out doing something with a medallion system like the taxis use. Would put in a hard cap, and you would have a coin to use as collateral, investment, family heirloom, etc. Might be harder to subvert that way.

     @dictatordave @WashedOutGundamPilot @nobullyplz say you and I have a whole bunch of crypto, couple million, and we decide we'd like to put it to use helping out white people by loaning it to people at no interest to buy houses. we would decide who to loan to, vet them, etc then give them access to the crypto and they would have to agree to a repayment schedule. now, the hard part would be how to protect against getting ripped off of course, but much like the jew loans, you would only lend to people you trust, and assume the risk of that. now say we got more guys to chip in so we could loan to more people. they all know what they're signing up for, they assume the risk same as us.
     
     how would they shut that down? niggers wouldn't even know it exists for starters. I'd bet you could make sure it's set up in a way that qualifies as a personal loan so there are no tax implications as long as it's being paid back (gifting money is different), and if you're not charging interest, it's not income for either party.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @nobullyplz i don't know why you couldn't set up a private crypto fund that could be loaned out to people chosen by the group or however you'd want to set it up. but then you probably have to be careful with reporting it on your taxes or something, who knows. and it's crypto so it still needs to be converted to do most things with it.
