@sapphire @Terry @Ottovonshitpost @deprecated_ii @Feddylain @skylar Is there even a world in which 15 minute charges for a thousand pounds of battery exists???
Gassing up in winter already sucks enough without having to sit at the 'pump' for an actual length of time.
-
@Feddylain @Terry @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii @skylar I can't live my life when I'm waiting forever for a charge because some politician who also took my guns and gas stove away said it's for my own good.
-
@RupertvonRipp @Terry @Ottovonshitpost @deprecated_ii @sapphire@squid.kids @skylar
You shouldn't be charging at a fast charge station regularly. You should charge up at home. You get home. You plug in your car. You go on with your life.
-
@Feddylain @Terry @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii @skylar so your entire life is drive to the wagecage and back and nowhere else, got it.
-
@PhenomX6 @Terry @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii @skylar
You should be charging at home while you sleep
-
@Feddylain @PhenomX6 @Terry @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @skylar "the problem isn't real because I don't have an answer to it" yep must be an EV enthusiast
-
@PhenomX6 @Terry @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii @skylar
Oh no your American road trip is ruined because you have to charge while eating/at a destinadion instead of fueling as a separate task. The horror.
-
@Feddylain @Terry @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii @skylar yeah imagine taking longer and what's that? Your wagie boss wants you back or you're fired? Get back in wagie.
-
@Feddylain @Terry @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii @skylar this is why social media companies get away with censorship and fucking their users, this exact mindset.
-
@deprecated_ii @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @skylar
Its an imagined problem that you've heard second hand from people who think that electric car ownership should be exactly the same as ice car ownership. Oh no there are different considerations. The once a year road trip requires 15 minutes more foreplanning or a click of a button in your GPS app of choice while charging stations aren't ubiquitous. The horror
-
@skylar @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii
I didn't know ICE chads didn't need to eat.
-
@Feddylain @Terry @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii @skylar we don't need to wait forever for our cars to charge we can eat when we want
-
@Feddylain @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii sitting around waiting on your fagmobile to charge so you can get back on the highway is neither reasonable nor realistic when you can fill a gas tank and empty a pee tank in 2 mintues
-
@Feddylain @Terry @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii @skylar it's the cuck mindset.
"Just don't do this bro you can keep making yt money"
-
@PhenomX6 @Terry @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii @skylar
Yeah foreplanning trips is definitely why social media censorship exists.
The fuck are you on about?
-
@Feddylain @Terry @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii @skylar
-
@Feddylain @skylar @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp "become a slave to your car's needs, design your entire life around feeding your car. what's the problem"
-
@deprecated_ii @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @skylar
Yeah that one time a year you have to charge your car in the middle of the day makes you a slave. It's your weekly trip to the gas station makes you free.
-
@Feddylain @Terry @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii @skylar what do you think about troons
-
@PhenomX6 @Terry @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii @skylar
I'm on here because I can't stand social media censorship. I've never censored my own speech. Here I can call you a retarded nigger faggot and that's based.
-
@RupertvonRipp @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @deprecated_ii @skylar there are already trucks with mobile diesel generators to. Charge you up enough to get to the next charging station. I imagine things like those will just become more popular and/or car to car charging will become standard. Your car is also smart enough to tell you when you might need to detour to charge it and where the nearest charging point is. Teslas already do that. Not sure about other makes.
-
@Feddylain @Terry @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii @skylar >electric car
>Needs generator
You can't make this ev shill cope up
-
@skylar @Feddylain @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @deprecated_ii Electric fans also don't have a good answer for an "out of gas" scenario.
If I fuck up and run out of juice in my normal car I can take a can, fill it with a gallon, and get enough juice to get to the pump. Never hit this problem myself but I know how far a tank will take me...
With an EV this must surely be more common as your tank "shrinks" every charge cycle and you can't just toss in a gallon of electricity on the side of the road...
Would I have to pay for a damn tow????
-
@PhenomX6 @Terry @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii @skylar
Your car will likely already be mostly charged. How will you drive your car if there's a gas run?
-
@Feddylain @Terry @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii @skylar how will you be able to store electricity when you have another mandatory rolling blackout you didn't know about (it's for your own good citizen).
-
@deprecated_ii @Feddylain @skylar @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp My mother has a friend who sold her Tesla after two near disastrous road trips, first to visit her daughter and then down to where she lives for half the year in the Southwest
She planned everything out in advance with the help of a salesman at the Tesla "store" (lol gay) based upon the availability of charging stations and the vehicle's range
They advocate frequent stops for quick charges because it's faster when the battery is relatively full - essentially if the charge goes below 60% charging takes longer. "Stop every two hours and charge for fifteen minutes! Stretch your legs!"
American cities are a complete disaster now, so even when she stopped during daylight in a lot of places she was in fear for her safety even when charging stations were available. She rerouted to the burbs moving forward, wherever possible, which meant often adding to each drive time and driving well off the highway, but if she wasn't familiar with a town she had no idea what she was getting herself into (many suburbs are terrible)
Charge times generally took longer than expected, and it wasn't unusual for all of the slots to be full at malls, etc., which meant that instead of jamming out 500 miles in a day easily and having time for relaxation she was on edge continually, getting to hotels late at night and not being comfortable leaving it charging at night... because only the newest hotels have more than 1 or 2 charging slots, if they have any at all they are very expensive hotels (in America, sub-$200/night hotels and motels are run by pajeets and filled with niggers)
She was so put out by this experience that she sold the damn thing immediately
"Just have a functioning society," I'm sure some retard will say
-
@Feddylain @Terry @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii @skylar so circular arguing then. You're saying it's only good for going to the wagecage and back.
-
@deprecated_ii @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @skylar you can have an hour commute and charge overnight on a 120v outlet lmao. Even less of an issue than le road trip predicament.
-
@Feddylain @PhenomX6 @Terry @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @skylar add "can't have a long commute" to list of EV limitations then
because driving an hour to work totally never happens in America
-
@johnbudd1350 @KarlDahl @deprecated_ii @Feddylain @skylar @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp It does seem like the "train" argument all over again
>I was in Japan and the public transportation system was amazing, I want to do that here!!
Yeah I was in Japan once too and saw a girl in her school uniform riding her bike home in the middle of nowhere at ten o'clock at night, I about cried right there in my bus seat thinking about how there are large swaths of the states where I have to make sure my gas tank is full before trying to cross the savage wastelands.
-
@KarlDahl @deprecated_ii @Feddylain @skylar @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp > frequent stops for charging are needed
> America is a brown shithole of violence
Really funny seeing the rubber meet the road on electric cars and diversity. You can only pick one!
-
@Feddylain @Terry @Ottovonshitpost @KarlDahl @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii @skylar not as long as people like amy biehls parents exist 😂
-
@KarlDahl @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii @skylar
>Electric cars make the problems of niggers more apparent
>this is a bad thing
You know white flight is exactly what the Jews want you to do. It was white liberals who never had to deal with niggers who freed the slaves. All the most tolerant places on Earth are homogenous. Alt-Hype did a good video on this where he referred to it as the effect of 'postjudice' (judging after interaction). Were white Americans actually forced to interact with niggers when America was 90% white, maybe you'd have had enough support to avoid/reverse the Hart-Celler act.
If you forced white liberals to deal with niggers directly, they wouldn't support them anymore and you'd have the political means to solve the nigger problem.
-
@Feddylain @KarlDahl @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @deprecated_ii @skylar White flight was the only legal option available to everyone, so they fled.
-
@Feddylain @RupertvonRipp @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @EvilSandmich @deprecated_ii @johnbudd1350 @skylar No, you don't understand
We agree completely that things must be done. But it's basically illegal to talk about it publicly in a concrete manner in the US. The conditions aren't right for it yet
Therefore, we must reject pie in the sky theorizing and accept the cold, stark realities we are faced with, and operate based upon that
For example: I love the mid-density European and NE Asian urban living model, and good mass transit, which we had all over the US before the 1950s, but we can't have that in the US anymore because of niggers, beaners and our current lax political/injustice systems, so we don't waste our time thinking about it
-
@Feddylain @EvilSandmich @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @KarlDahl @deprecated_ii @johnbudd1350 @skylar Japan doesn't have niggers.
-
@RupertvonRipp @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @EvilSandmich @KarlDahl @deprecated_ii @johnbudd1350 @skylar
Never taken a stroll through Ikebukuro at night I see.
Japan wasn't a crime free technoutopia 100 years ago. Being a doomer and doing nothing to fix your demographic issues or tech issues is a good way to become a nigger, mentally.
-
@EvilSandmich @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @KarlDahl @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii @johnbudd1350 @skylar
Japan didn't become a nice crime free society by sitting around not doing anything about the people who commit crimes.
-
@KarlDahl @Feddylain @RupertvonRipp @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @deprecated_ii @johnbudd1350 @skylar Yeah gotta love the project plan now:
>It's entirely feasible to do electric cars and shinkansens throughout the nation!
Me: "What about the brownunists?"
>Well obviously they have to be shipped off first.
I'm having trouble deciding which one of those bullet points is more fantastical.
-
@skylar @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii
in 10 years you'll be able to do that with your EV because charging stations will be that widespread
-
@skylar @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii
So that you get a cheap high quality hotel without ze bugs, know what roads you need to take to get to your destination, and which may be closed due to construction, know roughly where rest stops and roadside restaurants are (and so that you can go to a good one, not a shitty greasy goyslop establishment), and where you might want to detour to see a tourist attraction. I dunno, why plan anything?
-
@Feddylain @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii just read the signs nigger
they tell you where each highway is going and where there's food, gas, and places to piss
-
@Feddylain @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @RupertvonRipp @deprecated_ii why should i have to plan trips
-
@deprecated_ii @RupertvonRipp @Terry @PhenomX6 @Ottovonshitpost @Feddylain more of them existing doesn’t magically make batteries charge faster
i’m just not gonna buy an electric car
