Providing aid to victims of a natural disaster is difficult from afar.
What people need most is physical goods.
I've been recommended to donate to https://www.828strong.com/ by two people in Asheville, so I'm going to pass that recommendation along to everyone on NAS.

> Cry that the thieves aren't helping you
Seems to me that the root problem long preceded the natural disaster.
This also demonstrates how complacent people are, and how nobody gives a flying fuck and let the criminals run wild, only to complain bitterly when it intimately effects them.
@crunklord420 I have a 7900 XT (20GB VRAM) and I wish I had an extra ~5GB or so. Not only for context, but to be able to use vision-based models (LLAVA, Pixtral, etc) in addition to text LLMs without incurring the time penalty for loading/unloading. I can fit a 22B Minstral Q4 with 12k of context AND a full precision LLAVA model at the same time, but just barely. Sometimes I open a video and the GPU starts flipping out due to VRAM constraints. An extra few GB would really aid my use-case.
The problem with NA, Tim Pool, Meghan Kelly, etc. (new-age mainstream media), is that all of them want to take your money or leverage your attention to take someone else's money.
They will NEVER tell you that it's in your best interest to shut their propaganda-derivative commentary off.
They can't honestly say that you shouldn't let corporate propaganda dictate what occupies your mind; their revenue depends on the opposite.
