    Roll Your Own instance. masto.host is like $6 a month. Just have to buy another web URL. Nobody to control it but YOU. itll never disappear like NAS is. Keep membership to yourself and have everyone follow you instead of adding to the "community". i have 2 accounts on otr.rocks and both are all ME. If you build it, advertise it, people will follow you. No need for moderation or any other silly stuff.
