@jeffcliff no, they do not. Rebreathing your own waste is of course bad. The moist environment that you grow exhaled molds and bacteria in is horrible for your health, far worse than removing one or two of the millions of viral particles (that breed in your warm wet mask). The manufacturers instructions are never followed, masks are only worn for around 30min before requiring replacement. Mfg also states they are ineffective for bacterial/viral filtration. @Zennblack
