Welcome to the final weekend of the "Biggest Faggot on Fediverse" Tournament! #FaggotTourney
As usual, the updates first:
-Judge Dread looks like he's defeating Tomato handily, in a mostly unsurprising and orthodox fashion
-CSB looks like he's defeating Ratposter handily, and hasn't taken action to make his situation any worse.
-This weekend is the FINAL SHOWDOWN between (probably) the GAYFAG HOMOQUEER Judge Dread and the ASSMAD TRANNY CANCERRAT CSB!
-Why do I say "this weekend" and not "today"? Well, in a bit of a change from the rest of the matches, the polls will be up for A FULL 48 HOURS after posting...largely because the Tournament Organizer is on vacation and doesn't want to tie himself up in a hotel room all day when he could touch some fucking grass! Moreover, I WILL NOT CALL THE FINAL EARLY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. That's right, no matter how large the gap is, this goes all weekend long!
-Because of how contentious this final match is, I've asked some people for an independent count of the vote. Therefore, it's possible that final match results will be slightly delayed.
-I am reminding everyone that IN THE EVENT OF A TIE, THE TOURNAMENT ORGANIZER DECIDES THE RESULT ARBITRARILY. However, CMD has chosen that in such an event, he will arbitrarily choose the first late vote to decide the tournament. This is purely for his own amusement. :smug1:
Details about each contestant - and their promotional material - will be in the main voting thread (which is not this). However, both halves of the bracket had a few themes, and I'd like to discuss them.
-People who have been on fedi for a long time and who haven't been constantly antagonizing everyone largely earned enough respect to get knocked out their first round. The exception is Trevor Goodchild, who wound up matched with another such person Round 1: not even all of the people who nominated them showed up to vote for them Round 2.
-Actual and open homosexuals generally had middling performance. PonyPanda, Tomato, and Maija got beaten out by people who were active problems on fedi. This is particularly shocking in Maija's case - Maija has both been a problem and a raging homosexual, but due to CSB sperging out in everyone's DMs, they beat even the groomer troon who has been kicked off of multiple instances several times for their interactions with known pedophiles.
-Both finalists are being nominated for weirdly similar behavior. Someone who looks at this final without thinking too much about the two camps pushing for each finalist would seriously struggle to pick which one of them is worse, as the differences between them are largely a question of which exact people they've pissed off, and how many. This will be answered by the final round.
Last, a reminder of the rules:
1) There's no built-in poll. I will make a thread for each match: reply with the name of the person you want to vote for in that thread. The thread will be open for approximately 24 hours, and I will of course be lenient on this.
2) In order for your vote to be counted as eligible, you must have been on an instance federating with bae.st since January 2024.
3) Account holders may not vote against themselves! Furthermore, account holders who have nominated themselves (Ratposter) may not vote for themselves!
4) Known alts are discarded when discovered, and the offender's votes are all removed!
5) A person's vote must obviously have been communicated by themselves. Although it is OK to claim that a certain person is likely to vote in a certain fashion, this does not count as a vote, and it will not ever be counted as a vote.
6) Do not do something retarded enough to make the tournament organizer add new rules.
Failure to follow these rules will cause me to mute you for the duration of the tournament - invalidating your votes for the remainder of the tournament!

CSB started out as the dark horse of this race: nobody knew what they could expect. However, NAS came through for their local representative TWICE: Maija was completely destroyed in their round, largely due to CSB messaging people asking them to vote for Maija! Enough people came in and said that CSB's general poor sportsmanship were the reason they voted for CSB that if CSB had just logged off for a week, Maija would've won the match handily!
What a complete mess.

How has he achieved this? When he came over to fedi, he brought with him a group of the most obnoxious pieces of shit, started blocking everyone who mildly disagreed with him, and then used his followers to screech at everyone he has any mild disagreement with! Of course, on the majority-Christian poast, that meant that people who went up to him and said "wait no, church history is important" got a block - that's a lot of people!
